WEEE Marking
The European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive places a number of obligations on Zoombak in relation to the recycling of electronic equipment.
All products that are subject to the WEEE Directive supplied by Zoombak are compliant with the WEEE Directive and are therefore marked with the “crossed out wheelie bin” symbol shown below.



Information for Users
The WEEE symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste.
Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose of your waste equipment by contacting Zoombak for assistance (see below) or arranging to return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
By separating and recycling your waste equipment at the time of disposal you will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that the equipment is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment.

How Zoombak Can Help
As a distributor of electronic and electrical equipment (EEE) Zoombak must facilitate the take-back of WEEE locators that are equivalent to the Zoombak locator.
So, when you purchase your Zoombak device, contact Customer Care on 0800 028 0101 if you would like assistance with disposing of any old locating device that you are replacing the Zoombak device with (you need not have purchased your old device from Zoombak).
We will be happy to provide you with a pre-paid envelope for you to return the device to us. We will then ensure that old device is correctly disposed of, and recycle as much of the material in it as possible.
